Your arguments are perfectly valid! I was just being pragmatic, of course if would have been wonderful for mjolner to become GPL. I only tried to take into account that this would have to be done by mjolner, so it would have to be done 100% on their premises, currently there is no source available, old version or not. I just tried to see a way in which I could 'get the source' while making sure that when they gave me the source, they would get something back, give and take so to speak. But of course your arguments describe the ideal situation, I didn't misunderstand you: You want the source. I want the source. Could we figure out a way to make that happen, please? Mjolner has alreay been ethical enough for a lifetime by taking the concept of object-programming to a new level, and letting us use it for free, like free beer. The only ones getting 'bones' here, were the guys who got the pralines, and they were happy, so I'll remember to give them more. Just pray that I don't go and nag them for a job, too :-) > > I am aware of that, I just coughed up for a 512Mb upgrade on my Ultra > > 10. > > Who said 'exploited' .. :-) I wish you and others would question the 'ethics' of forcing me to do this upgrade as well :-) It ran quite perfectly, mjolner system included, with 64Mb ... Can we now say that we agree perfectly? Atle
