I know about this, and it would, I my main objective was to get this 'to the market' as soon as possible. It is a nice system, and contains everything one may need. I think this could even be done with Java. But I want to go ahead slowly, I have lots of time, and I want to be sure that I don't take any shortcuts. If I took a ready made kernel - I would not get the necessary experience in writing a kernel, etc. Eveybody have a view on things, and I want to be sure that all the oddities in the kernel are mine :-) But Oberron does contain a complete operating system that is well worth mentioning! Best wishes, Atle
