Then what are they written in? Lib?

Tk, Fox, Fltk, WxWindows, GraphApp, whatever.....all perfectly nice, round
wheels.
No pressing need to reinvent anything.
Of course, Mjolner got it righter than most by integrating a gui-lib in
the standard distribution. (Tcl and Modula-3 do too - who else?).
Now all we need is Open Source......sigh.
