Dear Friends

Does anyone managed to run beta on RedHat 5.1 ?
I am trying, but when beta trys to link it generates 
an error:
Linking
ld: cannot open /usr/lib/crtbegin.o: No such file or directory

I see two possible causes: 
1. RedHat uses both egcs 1.0.2 and gcc 2.7.2.3 (egcs for C++, gcc for C)
2. RedHat uses glibc

My installation is quite normal and I can compile and link C and C++ 
Code without any trouble.
