What part of the compilation takes a long time? Have you got sufficient memory available? Having 32MB RAM or more really helps when running windows 95. With Windows NT, 64MB RAM or more helps. Using a local harddrive (as opposed to using a network drive) for the Mjolner System really helps too. Compiling with SDK=MS or GNU is slightly faster than SDK=BOR. You save the time it takes to assemble the assemblerfiles, as the SDK=MS,GNU generates binary objectfiles directly. Apart from that, the speed of the linker is noticable, as the programs tend to get somewhat large. The linker from Borland is not particularly bad in this respect as far as I know.
