By solving problems with other people who come from different companies and different industries, participants gain a valuable "out of the box" perspective on how to solve problems using objects. The best DesignFest problems come from people who are using object oriented techology every day to solve real problems. We are looking for design problems that are worthy of being widely studied, perhaps even of becoming classic problems. We invite you to contribute a description of your problem to oopsla_designfest@acm.org. The deadline for submission is June 14, 1998. For further information regarding DF'98 problem descriptions, visit DesignFest Submission Guidelines. We look forward to receiving your problems. :) Travis Griggs Key Technology tgriggs@keyww.com --------------A3882F0322BE44E9057C56E4 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Design Fest is an OOPSLA'98 event that allows attendees to take part in an exciting session where individuals from differing backgrounds get to learn and interact with one another as they work out the initial details of an object oriented design.
