We are aware of that problem, and we plan to move the mailing list to moderation soon. _Hopefully_ I'll get time to do it this week. This will not affect the newsgroup, as changing the moderation status of a Usenet group takes a little bit more effort :-) Note that the criteria for moderation will be extremely mild. We only plan to drop articles with no BETA related content whatsoever; that is to say, articles regarding `Make Money Fast' schemes, generic spam, announcements of software in beta testing and announcements of arbitrary Eiffel IDE's will not make it to the mailing list. Critical postings about the BETA language or The Mjolner BETA System obviously adheres to the charter of the group, and will not be subject to censorship. I hope you will have patience with me for a few more days, but if you still wish to be removed from the list, send an email to with the following line as body of the mail: unsubscribe usergroup Regards, -- Lars Balker Rasmussen, Mjolner Informatics ApS lbr@mjolner.dk
