Hi,
  In attempting to compile any of the demos for Beta, I get, during linking:

ld: cannot open /usr/lib/crt0.o: No such file or directory

  The statement is true; there are, however:
/usr/lib/crt1.o       /usr/lib/crtend.o     /usr/lib/crtn.o
/usr/lib/crtbegin.o   /usr/lib/crtendS.o
/usr/lib/crtbeginS.o  /usr/lib/crti.o

  I am using Beta version 5.0(2) and Linux kernal 1.2.13

So:

a) what are crt* ?

b) what is the fix to the above problem?
