My point is that C++ can be used for RP purposes because it is easy to extract a call tree for the methods (my argument does not involve any comparisons with Smalltalk). My attempt to account for this in terms of "terseness"and "keywords" was a flop; the resulting discussion has shown me that these terms are far less clearly defined in the SE lexicon than I had previously believed, and they don't relate to each other (or call tree extraction) in the way I thought they did anyhow.
