Hello Daniel, The support for concurrency is/will be both: Currently, we do have a distributed object system, in which BETA objects may reside in two different UNIX processes, and invoke operations in each others, transparently and with data transfer etc, just like if the two objects were within the same (sequential) BETA program. We are currently investigating lightweight concurrency, which will be implemented within one single OS process (e.g. in UNIX). This implementation will be ala lightweight threads, and hopefully with support for multiprocessor architectures (like the Sparc). But no promices on when this work will be initiated, and definitely not on when it can be delivered :-) >P.S. Did you get the echidna I left for you? :) Yes, I have is located on top of my machine - thanks.
