TIME magazine, June 26, 2001 "Scandinavian Software house goes broke" Scandinavian software house, Mjolner Informatics, goes bankrupt because its customers mistakenly thought that its language products were always in a testing stage just prior to release. Says one customer: "The products were good. We just thought that everything was always a Beta release. Sorry." Bjarne Stroustrup, creator of the now-famous language (*D--)++ said: "Maybe they should have stuck with Simula++."
