The Linux Personal edition will cost $US 50 (last I heard anyway) and should be released any day now. The only thing holding it up, from what I gather, is that Mjolner want to synchronise its release with version 3 of the Mjolner BETA System. As for prices on other (UNIX and Macintosh) platforms give info@mjolner a buzz. I'm sure they would be happy to send you the relevant info. PS: BETA *is* a language you would like to experiment with. Look at the FAQ at http://www.daimi.aau.dk/~beta/beta-language-faq.html Cheers, Lachlan ------------------------------------------------------------------- Lachlan Witham law@tauon.ph.unimelb.edu.au PhD student Micro Analytical Research Centre School of Physics University of Melbourne, Australia -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Lachlan Witham law@tauon.ph.unimelb.edu.au PhD student Micro Analytical Research Centre School of Physics University of Melbourne, Australia JOB 1: Experimental Physicist in Compound Semiconductor Devices JOB 2: Programmer in C for device drivers, BETA for simulations, Tk/Tcl for GUI's....and FORTRAN to put myself in a mental asylum.
